Angkor Wat Discoverer

 Grade 1 Cultural Adventure

 Departs daily for a minimum of 2 persons 

Day 1, Bangkok - Siem Reap                             (-/-/-)

Transfer from hotel to the airport for own flight to Siem Reap Visas will be processed upon arrival following which clients will be met by our local representative.  Transfer to hotel and check in before starting a sightseeing tour of the town. Visit Rolous group: Bakong, Prah ko, and Lolei temples. Follows by Terrace of Elephant, Leper King, Former Royal Palace, Baphun, Prah Pithu, North & South Khleang temples.

 

Day 2, Siem Reap                                              (B/-/-)

Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple complex. Afterwards visit Angkor Wat temple complex and enjoy watching Sunset on Phnom Bakheng.

 

Day 3, Siem Reap                                              (B/L/-)

Departure for excursion at Kbal Spean, about 40 Km. from Siem Reap or The River of the Lingas. The River of the Thousand Lingas in the second sacred site in the Kulen Mountains and was "discovered "in 1968 by Jean Boulbet, a French researcher from the Ecole Francaise d'Extreme-Orient. Take a walk through the jungle (recommend to take good walking shoes-non slippery ones during the rain season) before you reach the river that contributes to the irrigation of Angkor. The bed of the river is lavishly sculpted. Numerous lingas lay there, caressed by the crystal – clear waters. Bas-reliefs depict scenes from the Brahman pantheon such as Vishnu lying. According to inscriptions found there, the site was decorated from 1054 onwards. Enjoy a Picnic lunch in a serene environment.

Return to Siem Reap in the afternoon with stop to visit the magnificent Banteay Srey temple.

 

Day 4, Siem Reap                                              (B/-/-)

Visit Tonle Sap Great Lake and take a boat trip to see the floating village.

Transfer to airport for own departure flight.

Termination of the tour.

Cambodian Visa & Airport Tax Information

Visa information

Visas for Cambodia will be issued upon arrival at International Airport (Phnom Penh or Siem Reap) at a cost of US$25.00 per person.  Participants should take with them two passport-sized photographs, and 2 copy of passport.

 

Visa online

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched e-Visa which enables you to apply for a Cambodia travel visa online. Instead of applying through Cambodian Embassy, all you need is to complete the application form and pay with your credit card. You will get your visa approved within 3 business days. To apply:

2. Complete the online application form
3. Make online payment with your credit card
4. Upon approval, receive your e-Visa by email
